Dr. Favagehi received both his BS and DDS degrees in Virginia. He completed his residency program in Periodontics at The Ohio State University where he conducted research for his Master’s degree thesis which is titled: “Stress Delays Oral Wound Healing”. Dr. Favagehi has been a part-time clinical instructor at the Virginia Commonwealth University with the rank of Assistant Professor since 1998. He is an active member of the Academy and last year serving on different AO committees and last year completed his term as the Chairman of the Research Submissions Committee. Dr. Favagehi is in private practice of periodontics and implant surgery with his wife Dr. Lourdes Christopher in the Washington DC area.
