Dr Kim received his DDS and PHD (microcirculatory Physiology) at Columbia. He served as the Chair of Endodontics Department at Columbia for 8 years then moved to Univ of Pennsylvania as Louis Grossman Prof and the Chair of Endodontics Department in 1992. At Penn he integrated the use of the Microscope and Endodontics Microsurgery in Endodontics specialty training program. Under his leadership PennEndo has organized Global Endo Symp in 20 different countries with great success. The monthly Microsurgery CE course has been running over 25 years making it the longest running Endo CE course in the country. Dr Kim has lectured over 35 countries and published over 250 articles in peer reviewed basic research and clinical journals. Currently Dr Kim is Associate Dean for Global Affairs at Penn Dent to spearheading global research and clinical exchange with many foreIgn countries. He practices Endodontics Microsurgery in his private practice in New York City.
